Would you not be friends with someone over a football team? Seems half of Americans would be.
2,000 Americans in the survey said they “called it quits” with a friend because they supported their favorite team’s rival.
When those teams battle and they loose, the person polled won’t talk to the friend for an average of three days. Partly to ‘get over’ the loss. We also figure it’s so they don’t have to hear about either.
