Google just released a list of the 10 most commonly misspelled words and there are a lot of, well, common ones on this list. It should be noted that one of the words on the list has 257,000 Googles every… single… month!
So here’s the Top 10
10. Congratulations VS. Congradulations – 17,000 Google searches misspell “Congratulations” every month.
9. Occurred VS. Occured – 18,000 Google searches misspell “Occurred” every month.
8. Connecticut VS. Conneticut – 20,000 Google searches misspell “Connecticut” every month.
7. Believe VS. Belive – 25,000 Google searches misspell “Believe” every month.
6. Rhythm VS. Rythm – 30,000 Google searches misspell “Rhythm” every month.
5. Separate VS. Seperate – 33,000 Google searches misspell “Separate” every month.
4. Receive VS. Recieve – 62,000 Google searches misspell “Receive” every month.
3. Niece VS. Neice – 73,000 Google searches misspell “Niece” every month.
2. Arctic VS. Artic – 87,000 Google searches misspell “Arctic” every month.
