A Halloween tradition since 1966 ‘It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown’ had aired on CBS until 2020 when Apple TV+ got the rights to the special. Fans weren’t happy about it and rightfully so.
In 2021 PBS were granted the rights to air the special but this year they don’t have them. So it’s another year without a Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang on regular TV.
But there’s good news! Apple TV+ is allowing non-subscribers to stream ‘Great Pumpkin’ along with the Thanksgiving and Christmas specials this year… and for free! You can watch “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” from Oct. 28-31, “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” from Nov. 23-27, and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” Dec. 22-25.
