The Peoria Irish Fest is back this year at Peoria’s Riverfront park and taking place August 26 – 28. It’s Illinois’ largest Celtic festival outside of Chicago with over 40 performances throughout the weekend, a Cultural Village chocked full of exhibits, delicious food and beverages, kids’ activities, and shopping opportunities.
This year’s artist line-up includes Cherish the Ladies, Cassie and Maggie, Screaming Orphans, Paddy Homan & the Noble Call, The Narrowbacks, Adam Agee and Jon Sousa, The Byrne Brothers, Kennedy’s Kitchen, and many more!
“Celtic music comes in so many varieties, we try to offer something for everyone. Cherish the Ladies is a superstar group of traditional Irish musicians, who headline wherever they go. Both the Screaming Orphans from Donegal and the Narrowbacks from New York bring the energy many of our fest friends seek.” – Entertainment Chair Tom McConnaughay.
Tickets for the event are $13 per day at the door with a 3-day weekend pass for $30. Those discounted tickets are on sale now at www.peoriairishfest.com. Children 12 and under are free.
